About Rodeo Drive
A visit to Beverly Hills, CA is not complete without a stroll down Rodeo Drive. Originally founded as a business district, Rodeo Drive was once made up of hardware stores, gas stations, bookstores, and beauty salons. In 1967, the first high-end boutique, Giorgio Beverly Hills, was opened by Fred Hayman, altering the future of Rodeo Drive. In 2003 Rodeo Drive received a facelift, widening the streets and incorporating, "The Walk of Style," featuring plaques celebrating fashion icons and their contributions to the industry. Today, the district is made up of 3 blocks of high-end boutiques, bars, hotels, and luxury stores.
